As someone with a very active mind with a strong ADD problem, I can certainly identify. I will say, though, that meditation can work wonders, and that it's generally very misunderstood. You can meditate while watching your kids play, meditate while doing the dishes, meditate while doing anything that doesn't require a super-attentive mind. Like anything powerful, to do it well requires real practice, but wow is it ever worth it.

Active-minded people really can be in the moment if they practice it enough, and oh is it ever worth it.

"Genius doesn't work on an assembly line basis. ... You can't simply say, 'Today I will be brilliant'," of course (if you'll forgive a Captain Kirk quote from the original Star Trek series).

Im not really sure what im doing right now but everything your saying is to the exact when it comes to my brain it is constantgly running and there are very little ways of making it stop, But the weird thing is is thta your feeling all of this and with all do respect i would like to know how old you are because, i feel like there is way more on my plate evryday just constantly trying ot get problems solved or what the next problen\m is going to be and how i would solve that problem before it even happen,(IF IT EVEN HAPPENS) but that the thing about me is that even when there is nothing more to think about i find somehting for sure to think about and have my brain rapidly thinking at all times,,,(IM ONLY 21) but i honestly can say im something different because everything about this world is so uhh theres no way to explain it, But i feel like i know stuff that you only learn when yout\r in your 50's... from experience and just knowing whats the logical solution to any problem, from very complex to just what your gonna eat tonight or what your gonna wear tomorrow stuff like that.. Im sorry i rambled but i am finally glad i have found people who i know can understand how the mind works and how the world is percieved differently... I would like to see if you could answer some questions or sort of point me in a direction that you think would be good.. i would love to hear from you and see what you have to say.. Thanks for your time Good-bye
